After the return to the Tour de France in 2012, le coq sportif is also, in 2014, the official partner of L’ÉTAPE DU TOUR.
Leading supplier of the Tour De France and partner of the two biggest cycling events in the world, le coq sportif continues to grow.
On October 23rd at the ASO press conference, the 2014 Tour de France stages were announced. Also announced was that the cycling event most awaited by all cycling lovers: L'Etape du Tour.

This year the event will take place in the Pyrenees, Sunday July 20th. The event will occur four days before the passage of the Tour de France peloton.
This year the participants will join Pau Hautacam on the 18th stage of the Tour . 12,000 participants are expected to attend from all around the world (over 60 countries) to confront a mountain which will be sure to test the ability of world's leading riders. These heroic participants will face two climbs and in particular one very famous climb '' : the Col du Tourmalet ( 17.1 km at 7.3% and peaking at 2115m ) and climb to Hautacam (13.6 km 7 8% and peaking at 1520m )
This challenging mountain stage in the tour de France will be sure to provide joy and suffering for all participants.
L’Etape du Tour is one of the biggest cyclosportives organised on closed roads and is identical to those conditions of the Tour de France which still offer participants lots of kudos ... You'll understand this is a unique experience in a cyclists lifetime.

On the occasion of this great event for amateur cycling, le coq sportif provides for a program that will be unveiled early next year also with a product line dedicated to cycling the Etape du Tour 2014.
Last year our team took part in the Etape du Tour 2013 ( Annecy - Annecy / Semnoz ).
