Magasin flagship Le Coq Sportif à Paris

It’s Pierre Vassiliu in 1974

This guys use to wear Le Coq Sportif when is was training for some sort of sports in the 70’s, we are pretty sure of that !
« Qui c’est celui là ? » literally means « Who is this guy ? ».
The song is about a guy everyone is questioned about since he looks too cool and is then a menace for other guys’ girls.
Pierre Vassiliu is introduced by our late Jacques Martin, a famous and major French TV host from the 70’s to the 90’s.

Michael Jackson & Le Coq Sportif 80’s football shirt
After hearing from numerous windows and mouths Michael Jackson’s songs this week-end, Le Coq Sportif kind of have to do an homage to the King of pop.
It has been found those improbable pictures of Michael Jackson wearing an OGC Nice football shirt in 1983. Michael had just gave birth to the top seller album of all time « Thriller » when these pictures was taken.
Sorry for the cliché, but we had to put a song from this album to go along with this post, it’s hard to choose the right one but « Wanna be startin’ somethin’ » is maybe the one that brings more joy in our head, it has this crazy rythm at end that makes you wish the song should never stop.

Sébastien Tellier > add him to my friends
Look at this French singer, he is like a kid. His wonderful last album is called « Sexuality« but he could just have called it « Sympathy ». We don’t know him, but this guy looks so funny that we wish he was our friend and he was here with us working on products joking around most of the time…
Really nice & smooth song : « Roche »
