LL Cool J is the first rapper to reach the top of the US pop charts with his romantic song « I need Love ». It’s a mainstream break-out for a rap song.
In 1987, the young rapper wrote this song when he was 18 contemplating his situation in his grandmother’s basement.
At that time the brand was alive, LL Cool J is wearing Le Coq Sportif in the video.
